Monitoring domains in Domain Hub

Monitor up to 1,000 owned or watched domains: expiry, registrar, registry status, DNS, email protection and every change.

Domain Hub watches domains over time instead of answering once.

What is monitored

  • Registry: status, registrar, registration and expiry dates, status codes such as transfer lock. Every lifecycle change (for example registered, expired, redemption, pending delete, available) is recorded.
  • DNS: nameservers, address, mail and text records, with a before and after for meaningful changes. Routine content-delivery churn is ignored.
  • Email protection: SPF and the DMARC policy, with what to fix.
  • HTTPS certificate: issuer, expiry and whether it matches.
  • Health score: one figure summarising the above for owned domains.

Domains are checked about every 24 hours, and more often near expiry or in a drop phase. Each watched name in a drop phase carries an estimated release date.

Owned and watched

Mark a domain as owned to track it as yours: add the provider, price, auto-renew and your own expiry date. Watching is for names you want: you are told when one becomes available or enters pending delete. Needs attention lists only what concerns domains you own.

Adding domains

Add names one by one, paste a list, or connect a registrar: automatic import from supported registrars with an API key (stored encrypted), or a manual export file.

Email alerts

Off by default. When on, an alert goes out only for something new you can act on (an owned domain 30, 7 or 1 day before expiry, expiring, going down or changing hands; a watched name becoming available or entering pending delete). Free includes email alerts for one selected domain; paid plans include all selected domains. Choose daily, weekly or monthly summaries and a local delivery hour. A name that was already free when you added it is not sent as news.

Limits

5 domains on Free, 100 on Pro, 1,000 on Scale.
